You can browse without an account but you need one to like, save, and follow creators.
Using The App
How do I play a clip?+
Tap any card in the feed to start playing.
How do I follow a creator?+
Tap their name on any card to visit their profile, then tap Follow.
How do I save a clip?+
Tap the bookmark icon on any card.
How do I like a clip?+
Tap the heart icon on any card.
How do I share a clip?+
Tap the share icon on any card.
The Feed
What is the For You feed?+
A personalized mix of historical wisdom, podcasts, and news ranked by popularity, freshness, and your engagement history.
What is the Following feed?+
Only content from creators you follow, sorted by newest first.
How do I filter by category?+
Tap the category pills at the top of the Discover tab — News, Issues, Lifestyle, or Entertainment.
How do I filter by media type?+
Tap the media type row — Radio, Podcast, Book, Essay, or Speech.

Why do some clips play for 1 minute and others play fully?+
Historical clips (books, essays, speeches) are curated 60-second excerpts read by AI voices. Podcast and radio episodes play in full.
Where does the historical content come from?+
All historical content is from public domain works pre-1928, read by AI voices and curated by our team.
Where do the podcasts come from?+
Podcasts are aggregated from public RSS feeds. We link directly to the original audio.
How often is content updated?+
News and podcast feeds refresh automatically every day at 6am UTC with new episodes.
