about
The Nile
where wisdom
flows
The Nile brings together the greatest minds in human history alongside today's most compelling voices β philosophers, scientists, journalists, storytellers β all in one beautifully simple audio experience.
Our Story
The Nile was born from a simple frustration: the most important ideas ever conceived β from Plato's cave to Marcus Aurelius on the battlefield β were buried in dusty libraries while the world scrolled past cat videos.
We built The Nile to change that. We believe the ancient and the modern belong together. That a 2,000-year-old letter from Seneca can sit beside a Joe Rogan conversation and both can change how you see the world.
The Nile is named after the river that gave birth to civilization β because great ideas, like rivers, never stop flowing.
What We Are
A TikTok-style audio app featuring public domain wisdom from history's greatest thinkers alongside curated podcasts and live news radio from the world's best creators. Swipe through Marcus Aurelius, Shakespeare, Frederick Douglass, Aristotle β then catch the latest from NPR, BBC, Diary of a CEO, or Hardcore History. All in one place. All beautifully presented.
What We Believe
